PBL has a variety of high and low pressure gas guns and debris launchers for firing of novel projectiles. Examples include; Spherical ice cubes (solar panel, roofing, aircraft windscreens, radomes etc), Ball bearings, Nuts, Bolts and other fasteners (IED simulation as well as industrial accident testing eg pressure vessel rupture), bricks, fence posts. Larger projectiles fired include pre-formed fragments from Anti-Ship Munitions and Instrumented Medium Cannon carrier shells.
